Her Vision, Our Mission
Shelby Webre was born on August 2, 1991. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, friend, and community member. Music was her passion in life. At just 28 years old, she opened The County Line, an events venue specializing in weddings and live music. In this new role as venue owner and event manager, she thrived in bringing all types of events to life.
In July of 2023, Shelby was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive form of Ovarian Cancer (SCCOHT). The prognosis was grim, but she never lost hope. Upon diagnosis, she immediately began to lay the groundwork for a foundation that would support our local community. She expressed that, regardless of where her journey would lead, she wanted to leave a legacy of charity. She had two primary goals for her foundation.

Inspired by the amazing outpouring of assistance her family received, she wanted to help local families who had a parent facing a serious medical diagnosis. This assistance could come in the form of financial aid, resources, travel expenses for treatment, and more.
Inspired by her love of music, she envisioned a non-traditional scholarship program. This program would offer financial aid to high school seniors who wish to pursue their passion in the creative arts field. This would include, but not be limited to, monetary donations for tuition, art supplies, instruments, studio time, etc.
Shelby passed away on March 22, 2024. In April of 2025, The ShelbyStrong Foundation was granted 501(c)(3) status. Through this foundation, we are bringing her vision to life. We are excited to extend Shelby's legacy far into the future.
